Have you ever met anyone who’s watched all the seasons of Suits six times and can impersonate Harvey Specter’s most memorable lines? You have now. I’m not the most expressive person, so when I say “that’s DOPE” after I rewatch a clip I just took, I mean it. I can make a delicious omelette and chai (at least that’s what Saarah says). My love for history is the blueprint of all my travel. My three cats- Kulfi, Chai, and Masala- are constantly watching me edit so chances are they’ve seen and approved your film before I send it to you. I have a love hate relationship with beaches, I hate the feeling of sand in my shoes, but I love the backdrop it gives during shoots. I have lost and found all four of my drones just within the last year. I like to keep it Ali In The Air, not Ali In The Tree or Ali In The Ocean for a reason. However, this is the year of taking more risks, not just with my drone but in all aspects.

Saarah

I love all things food related, cooking, dining out, Keith Lee is Ali and I’s favorite tik-toker. I recently achieved my gym goal of being able to carry all the groceries in one shot. When it comes to filming weddings I am simply “here for the vibes” meaning no matter the situation, I am here for it. Ali often times has to keep my dancing behind the tripod in check during Sangeets/Mehndis. I have cried at every Vidaai/Ruksati (farewell) we’ve shot so far since 2021. If I’m not shooting a wedding, I’m curled up reading an intense thriller. My current read is “The Housemaid” by Freida McFadden , but my absolute favorite book is “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides. I am currently in five book clubs! Oh also, I have an unhealthy addiction to TikTok and my Nespresso.

When you’re planning a big celebration, you hope for a team that gets the job done, but Ali in the Air went so far beyond that. Managing all the moving parts, the busy timeline, and every single event could have felt overwhelming, but they stepped in and made the entire process seamless. From start to finish, they felt less like a media team and more like our biggest cheerleaders.

They have this incredible, personable energy that immediately puts everyone at ease. If you’ve never been in front of a professional camera before, it’s easy to feel a little awkward, but they made us feel completely comfortable, natural, and confident. They were constantly hyping us up, keeping the vibes high, and guiding us through every single shot with so much clarity. They are true visionaries, their direction was intentional, creative, and effortlessly cool.

What blew us away the most was how thorough they were. They didn’t miss a single thing. Every organic laugh, every subtle glance, and all the high-energy party moments were captured so naturally. Watching the final footage back literally felt like watching a whole movie, the storytelling, the cinematic feel, and the way they caught the true emotion of the day was unbelievable. So many of our family and guests commented on how kind, fun, and attentive they were throughout the event. They also were so understanding on edits and were so quick to make the minor adjustments!
